Kuldeep Singh – who listens to spiritual stories

02/05/2017

Today I met Kuldeep Singh. He has lived in the holy city of Anandpur Sahib for a ‘long long time’.

He is an old man now, so his spiritual practice in this time is listening to spiritual stories which are told each day.

Feeding The Roots

02/05/2017

Traditionally, students of yoga have served their teachers/gurus in exchange for knowledge. There are still thousands of dedicated yogis living in the Himalayas and elsewhere, practicing original teachings and exploring new ways. At the same time, we have an abundance of 'new' yoga all over the world, sometimes the branches of yoga are growing far away from their roots. The aim of this project is to build goodwill bridges between the ancient roots in India and the western branches.

Part & Parcel. A Yoga Documentary Satsang by Emma Newlyn

02/05/2017

Having been one of the organisers of this year’s Brighton Yoga Festival, which raised money for two local charities, I got the chance to meet many incredibly kind and passionate people, all of whom care about spreading the word of yoga in order to help others. The festival was a huge success and I’m so grateful to have been able to teach a class on the main stage with the very talented DJ OM Nebula providing beautiful music. Pink Namaste helped to fund the festival, and were there raising awareness about their fairtrade Yoga products. Through Pink Namate, I met Diego Barraza, the director of Part & Parcel who introduced me to his documentary. If you’re interested in learning more about Yoga and what it really means, then this is a film definitely worth watching. Read on to find out more….

Yoga Garden Party 2015

02/05/2017

Delighted to be part of this event with the wider Yoga community of the UK and support the important work of the Hope Foundation.

Drumroll please! We are so very happy to announce that we, with your incredibly generous help and support, have raised a staggering £19,804.12 for HOPE from this year's Yoga Garden Party.

As always, we continue to support HOPE's projects, homes and programmes for the street and slum children of Kolkata and in particular a protection home for HIV infected and affected children. This home provides residential care, education, healthcare, counselling and recreation to 25 children whose lives have been changed dramatically as a result of infection or a primary caregivers death. We received this lovely photo from Kolkata this morning and sincerely, from the bottom our our hearts, thank you all so much, together we CAN make a difference to the country that gave us yoga. About Pink Namaste

We believe that we can be catalysts for change, doing what we love. It is time for new business models to replace the old.

Since 2004, Pink Namaste supports small cooperatives, fair trade and traditional art forms. We aim to use recycled and organic materials in our manufacture, wherever possible.

Completing the circle we support social and environmental projects in India. Up to date we have financed tailoring lessons for ladies near Mysore, training sessions in organic farming for tribal people in Karnataka, and are currently supporting the making of an organic garden farm near Mysore.
We believe that business can be fun,
creative and benefit everybody involved, from producers and managers through to customers.

Help us to grow the circle of love by enjoying our products, becoming our friend and telling people about us.

We live Yoga and we also organize Yoga workshops and fund-raising events.
